Painting in Progress

This is a A1 egg temper painting that I am working on at the moment. The subject is a collage of two images, a postcard of a 1506 painting of the Visitation and a second hand family photo of two 1960’s women holding a gun. I combine these images together as they seemed to contrast each other and at the same time fit together very neatly. The Three images below are of the different stages of ink wash and the layers of egg temper.
